The DCAF Security and Human Rights Implementation Mechanism (SHRIM) is a multi-donor trust fund committed to improving security and human rights on the ground through multistakeholder engagement. The SHRIM builds on DCAF’s unique expertise in developing international multi-actor mechanisms to support targeted, cost-effective security, development, and human rights programming in fragile contexts.

The 2019 annual report provides an overview of the activities in Peru, Kenya, DRC, Colombia, Nigeria, and the Southern Africa region. Besides, it shares the lessons learned for in-country implementation of the Voluntary Principles for security and human rights.
