In Colombia, legislators have frequently participated in events focused on SDG sensitization, hosted by NGOs and international organizations, to build capacity for integrating the SDGs into legislation.

A first seminar to sensitize legislators to the SDGs was held in November 2018. In February 2020, a second seminar was offered, on the environmental and sustainability dimensions of the SDGs. Then, in December 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the parliamentary Legal Committee for Women's Equality came together with Pacto Global Colombia in a webinar to discuss SDG 5 and setbacks resulting from the pandemic.
