In Georgia, under the auspices of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) - of which Georgia has been a member since 2011 - the government has now developed and adopted several subsequent Open Parliament Action Plans.

The Plan defines the roles and functions of parliament, helping increase inclusivity, responsiveness, and accountability, and ensure conformity with the SDGs, especially SDG 16 and its targets.
