This insightful 142-page study has been produced by DCAF and Centre d’Études en Droits Humains et Démocratie (CEDHD). It follows the 2022 report on the state of prisons in Morocco.

The study examines the situation of minors within Morocco’s legal system, analyzing it against international human rights standards and Morocco's legal framework. It identifies challenges within the current system and presents recommendations aimed at enhancing this crucial sector.   

It was presented to representatives from various sectors, including ministerial departments, judicial authorities, United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations, journalists, and researchers nn 11th October 2023 in Rabat.
