‘The impact of climate change and environmental degradation on women's security’ infographic outlines how gender inequality, climate change and the environmental degradations affect human security, with specific gender impacts.  

This infographic was produced within the frame of the implementation of the project ‘Raising women’s voices, hearing women’s words: Empowering women’s rights organisations to put climate change on the agenda in peace and security processes’. This “problem tree” was developed by the Coalition Malienne pour le Genre, le Changement Climatique et la Sécurité to explain how climate change and environmental degradations affect human security in Mali, and particularly, women’s human security. This infographic aims at strengthening the capacity of women's organizations to advocate for the inclusion of gender and climate perspective in peace and security processes in the country.
