As Moldova goes through a review of security legislation and national defence, including the development of policy documents (Security Strategy National, National Defense Strategy, Cyber Security Strategy etc.) and the revision of its oversight and regulatory framework (the Law on Intelligence and Security, Law on national defense, military legislation package etc.), the objective of the study forming the first part of this publication is to provide a comprehensive analytical framework of the legislation on oversight and national defense. The second part of the publication comprises the relevant laws reviewed in the study itself.
