In cooperation with DCAF, the Centre for Army Conversion and Disarmament Studies (CACDS) has published several compendiums of national security sector legislation.

Until now, these have focused predominantly on Ukraine, providing the international community with access to Ukrainian legislation in the English language, thereby serving as a tool for identifying possibilities for adaptations to the law.

Following the success of these national legal compendiums, the decision was made to compile and translate into the English language a compendium of Belorussian security sector laws.

It is hoped that this compendium will assist the international community in understanding the intricacies of Belarussian security sector legislation.
