This publication represents a survey of the status and needs of Georgia’s parliamentary oversight practices to facilitate technical assistance and capacity development activities over the next years.

With the advent of a new government and an invigorated parliament, the objective was to survey oversight practices and procedures in the parliament and beyond, the legal framework (particularly changes proceeding from the new constitution) and also to highlight relevant best practices from other European states.
