Learning together about Cybersecurity Governance in the Western Balkans, December 2024 – March 2025

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and policymaking? Do you want to expand your knowledge with real-world examples, best practices and applied theory? Are you looking to exchange ideas with experts and researchers in the field? 

Join us for the Young Faces 2024-2025 educational programme! 

This unique opportunity will allow you to explore the link between cybersecurity governance and cyber violence, focusing on regional examples, gender equality, and what good governance means for European countries today.
Applications are open until October 31, 2024.

This exciting and insightful programme is organized in the context of the DCAF's project, ‘Resilient and Responsive Cybersecurity in the Western Balkans’, sponsored by the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

Webinars:

- 3-5 December 2024: The Intersection of Cybersecurity Governance, Cyber Violence, and Cyber Crime: A Comprehensive Overview
- 10 – 12 December 2024: Cyber Violence and Cybercrime: Impacts on Human Rights
- 17 – 19 December 2024: Platform Responsibility in Addressing Cyber Violence: International Standards and Regulations

Policy papers:
January – March 2025: Each participant will write a policy paper with the on-going mentorship of experts. Three spotlighted policy papers will be published and promoted through DCAF’s website. An online session on policy-paper writing will be organized at the beginning of the programme.

In-person event:
March 2025: Live training seminars with renowned experts on cybersecurity governance.
