Project Officer, Public-Private Partnerships Division
Andrés Zaragoza Montejano is a Project Officer in the Public-Private Partnerships Division at the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of the Armed Forces. He is seconded to the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers' Association (ICoCA), where he provides support for the establishment and the development of its core functions.
Prior to joining DCAF, Andrés worked as a researcher on Business and Human Rights at the International Peace Information Service (IPIS), a Belgian-based research institute. Before that, he completed a legal internship at the Centre for Justice and International Law (CEJIL) in Costa Rica, a NGO providing legal representation to victims of human rights abuses before the Inter-American Human Rights System.
Andrés holds a MA in Theory and Practice of Human Rights from the University of Essex. His academic background is on Law and Business Administration and Management.
