Research Assistant, Gender and Security Division
Léa Lehouck joined the DCAF Gender and Security Division in 2017. Among her current projects, Léa is involved in a NATO-SPS project facilitating an organisational climate assessment in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Georgia. She has also contributed to the design and delivery of training on Gender and Security for different audiences and has done research on the deployment of uniformed women in peacekeeping operations. Prior to DCAF, Léa worked on prevention of violence and discrimination against women in the Special Procedures Branch of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). Léa holds a Master’s Degree in European and International Affairs from the Institute of Political Studies of Lille (Sciences Po Lille), France, where she focused on conflict resolution and development studies.
